The MKIV jag drop head has to be ones of the best early British cars made. This particular car was beautifully restored by Smart Restorations in the central coast and every nut and bolt was either replaced or refurbished. When we got the car it was a bare shell, the hood was removed many years ago but the seat still retained, albeit very tired, original seat covers that we were able to get an idea of how they were constructed, which we followed exactly. The hood was researched for countless hours to get the design as original as possible, then the mammoth task of covering all the bows, hand fitting the headlining then the padding and finally the outside hood. There’s so many little details to this build as to list them all would fill a book.
