The 65 Mustang is one of the most popular sports cars of the era and this convertible is definitely looks the part. We kept with the original style but added some chrome to the backrests to complement the polished stainless steel on the door trims, which were custom made to look like the originals just covered and boot seamed to match the seats. We added black speaker pods to the kick panels, new carpet on the floor and boot. We also changed over the hydraulic rams and lines with new ones and filled the whole system up with new fluid so the top now works as brand new. We also fitted a new rear window to the top as the old one was cracked. We drew up and 3D printed removable cup and phone holders that Velcro on to the carpet so they just blend into the floor and can be taken out if need be.
